The People that work here!

Our Crew

Benjamin Haab

Benjamin was born and raised on a dairy farm just outside of Fort St. John. Following a broadcast internship in Lethbridge, AB, and later graduating from Vancouver Film School in 2006 with Honours, he and his wife spend a year in Switzerland working on a documentary before deciding to settle in the beautiful Peace region. Partnering with Eagle Vision's founder, Cole Busche in 2007, Ben has worked hard to grow the company. Buying out the founder in 2014 and silent partners in 2018 was a big move for the future of the company. This has enabled the Team to open the ‘creative door’ and expand into exciting avenues.

Johanna Haab

Following her education from UBC and Thompson Rivers University, Johanna enjoyed a successful career with the City of Fort St. John before choosing to stay at home raising their four children.

Johanna is an integral part behind-the-scenes with management and strategic planning (and editing our poorly-constructed Facebook posts ;)

Her big-picture vision, thorough research abilities and administrative skills make her indispensable.

Doug Davidson

Doug joined the Eagle Vision team in January 2019 as Manager of TRU Security. Doug has worked in the Oil and Gas industry for the past 36 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Doug’s expertise as an operator means he knows what your facility needs. Detailed and personable, we’re excited to have Doug part of the team. He and his wife are happy to call Fort St. John home.

David Ross

David is a welcomed member on our team coming from Hamilton, Ontario. Filming everything from high-end commercials to feature films; David brings a wealth of cinematography and editing knowledge to Eagle Vision. Dave started in the music video industry woking for the Tea Party and Vanessa Carlton to name a few. Dave’s skills were quickly noticed as a result and he rose to cinematographer on commercials for brands like Nike, TD Bank and Master Card. Specializing in the cinematic hook of the story… “like” a Super Bowl commercial but at a fraction of the cost.

Leanne Bausman

Leanne: this busy-bee originated from Fort St. James and moved to Fort St. John several years ago and worked in the Oil and Gas industry. After sharpening her skills as an amateur landscape and portrait photographer, Leanne started Busy Lea Photography and jumped into the world of professional photography. Her skills in portrait and lifestyle photography opens a wider skillset to Eagle Vision, making her a natural fit in our creative family!

Martin Bauer

Martin has been with Eagle Vision since summer 2015 throwing his talents at TRU Security and the client experience on the web. Completing his B.SC. Computer Science from Lethbridge AB, Martin works remotely putting his training and education to use out in Ponoka AB. Using anything from Python, C++, QT4, OpenGL, Java, Android/iOS app development, SQL, UML, Swing, Tap, Jazz dance you name it he can program it. These are just a few languages Martin can program within. We're lucky to have him on the team!

As unique as he is kind and insightful, Shawn began working at Eagle Vision in 2017 performing consumer conversions. We are thankful for his diligence and attention to detail as he converts film, mini DV's, slides to DVD's and viewable USB files. Shawn is part of the Employment Connections Work Program and we are happy to have him as part of our team!

Kent Evenson

Hailing from the village of Frontier, Saskatchewan where the sun meets the Cypress Hills, we welcome Kent to the team! Between completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (majoring in Film and Video Production) at the University of Regina, Kent employed the last two summers helping shoot live events; which will be his focus moving forward. No surprise, talented Kent is also a prolific musician who can play piano, guitar and just about everything in between. Kent’s latest accomplishment is an award-winning short film called “Beta Test” (writer and producer) which is being noticed at festivals around Canada, the United States and the UK for which it has already won three awards! We are thrilled to have this talented rising star on our crew.

Jesse McCallum

“As a director my priorities are to inspire my crew to enhance the material and to receive everyone’s hairbrained ideas and run them through my creative filter in service of the story.” Jesse was born and raised in the community of Charlie Lake, and from a young age has been a keen story teller. It wasn’t until 14 years ago that he happened across a filmmaking course in junior high and fell in love with the art form. “Without filmmaking as a creative outlet I’m certain my misfit brain would have gotten me in a lot more trouble in my youth.” In recent years Jesse has won several Peace Region awards for films he’s directed. He returns to us better than ever after two years of refining his technical and photographic skills.
